9th AGM/5th Convention Concluded with New Leadership

The 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and 5th Convention of the National Campaign for Sustainable Development Nepal was successfully held on 22 September 2025 in Dhulikhel.

The meeting reviewed the organization’s past activities and endorsed the Annual Progress Report, along with the Plan and Budget for Fiscal Year 2025/26.

The key priorities of the organization will include:

  • Coordinating with diverse organizations to implement programs aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Advancing human rights and justice-oriented development through activities at all levels.
  • Collaborating with federal and municipal governments to strengthen efforts in sustainable development and human rights.
  • Enhancing coordination among NGO groups in the field of disaster risk reduction.
  • Ensuring continuous monitoring, review, and advocacy of the SDGs.
  • Promoting economic, social, and cultural rights through sustained actions.
  • Exploring and mobilizing innovative financial resources to support and expand programs.

Furthermore, a nine-member Executive Committee has been formed under the chairpersonship of Ms. Rita Manandhar, which will lead the organization for the next two years.
