Legal Registration

NACASUD-Nepal is legally registered in District Administration Office of Kavre district under Organization Registration Act 1977. Also, it has been affiliated with Social Welfare Council under Social Welfare Act 1992. This organization is governed by its own statute, self-regulation policies and Strategic Plan (March 2018-February 2021).

Statute

Statute is the main guiding policy document of NACASUD-Nepal, which is legally approved by District Administration Office of Kavre district. It explains about the objective, membership provision, arrangement of Annual General Meeting, General Assembly, formation of Executive Committee, Roles and responsibilities of officials, financial management, election etc.

Self-Regulation Policies

Financial Management Regulation

NACASUD-Nepal adopted Financial Management Regulation in 2018 to regulate its internal financial control and management system. It guides to organization on financial system, fund raising, fund management, accounting and audit, remuneration, asset management, project grant management, reporting and delegation of authorities.

Human Resource Management Regulation

NACASUD-Nepal adopted Human Resource Management Regulation in 2018 to regulate its human resource management system. It guides to organization on human resource management and development, remuneration provision, travel management, code of ethics, office time, leave, performance evaluation etc.

Organization

General Assembly

NACASUD-Nepal holds its General Assembly in every two years and elects its Executive Committee for two years.

Annual General Meeting

Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the supreme body of NACASUD-Nepal. AGM takes place in every year. The AGM is responsible to review the progress and activities and it gives clear direction to the Executive Committee. Moreover, it approves the annual progress report, financial report and audit report, and propose the key activities for next year. It has authority to amend the statute as per need.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is responsible to execute policies and decisions of AGM. It directly involves in day to day management of the entire organizational works. Executive Committee consists 9-13 members. Executive Committee can form sub-committee or functional committees as per need. Executive is responsible to hire staffs, raise funds, develop programmes, keep records and accounts. Executive Committee is accountable to the Annual General Meeting.
